Quick and easy and delisious on icecream
Simple to make and is absolutely yummy! When I quick released the juices came out, so be careful. Will make again.

Disaster. Apple sauce spewing from pressure release valve. Stewed apples inside. Total waste.
I ended up with concentrated cinnamon apple sauce. I mixed it with reg honeycrisp applesauce for a delicious Cinnamon Applesauce.
I used red delicious apples and cooked for 3 minutes and they were great. I also put in a sprinkle of vanilla and a pat of butter in the next batch. Loved both.
Delicious. Fast and easy. I didn’t have any trouble like some others, the apple slices were perfect. Not mushy. As i was peeling and coring, i placed the slices in ice water with lemon juice. I do this so the apples won’t turn brown and i can make it anytime. Maybe that helped.

I made with apples I had on hand, Braeburn and Pink Lady. Not mushy at all. Served on waffles.
Make sure you cut everything in large pieces or youll end up with apple sauce like some of my small ones. I swapped half the cinnamom for chinese five spice this time and it was the best decision ever!
Could i use apple juice instead of water for more flavor?

Very tempting but unfortunately it turned out to be apple sauce for me 🙁
I will try reducing the pressure cooking time to say 1 or 2 minutes and see if the apple slices stay soft but not lose the shape. I would reduce the sugar quantity too. Thanks for the recipe!
