Vortex Plus Parmesan Chicken Fingers
Parmesan-crusted chicken finger recipe shows off the capacity of the Vortex by cooking an entire pound of chicken fingers all at once, and in only 15 minutes. Super crunchy and less than half the calories of restaurant chicken fingers.

Ingredients
  • 1/2cup flour
  • 1tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4tsp pepper
  • 2 eggsbeaten
  • 3/4cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1tsp Italian seasoning
  • 3/4cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 8 chicken tendersabout 1 lb
  • marinarahoney mustard or ranch for dipping (optional)
Instructions
  1. Set up for dredging: Combine flour, salt and pepper in a shallow dish. Add beaten eggs to a second shallow dish. Combine breadcrumbs, italian seasoning and parmesan cheese in a third shallow dish.
  2. Dredge chicken first in the flour mixture, then in the egg mixture, then place the chicken in the breadcrumb mixture and press the crumbs firmly on both sides.
  3. Divide the coated chicken onto the cooking trays, leaving space between each chicken piece.
  4. Place the drip pan in the bottom of the cooking chamber. Using the display panel, select AIRFRY, then adjust the temperature to 360 degrees and the time to 15 minutes, then touch START.
  5. When the display indicates “Add Food” insert one cooking tray in the top-most position and one tray in the bottom-most position.
  6. When the display indicates “Turn Food” turn the food over AND switch the cooking trays so that the one that was in the top-most position is now in the bottom-most position, and vice-versa.
  7. When the AirFry program is complete, remove the tenders and serve hot with your choice of dipping sauce.
