I ended up using about 1/4 cup sour cream because i ran out of yogurt. Worked great. Added some onion and garlic powder into the dough. Added sugar and cinnamon in some other. They lack a little of the chewiness of typical bagels but they were awesome! Nice quick breakfast and very easy.
Just made these this morning for the base of a breakfast sandwich. They turned out pretty darn good for such little work. No need to buy bagels again!
Amazing recipe!! We were out of regular Greek yogurt so I subbed with vanilla Greek yogurt. Oh my goodness turned out amazing. Matter of fact our almost 5-year-old completely made this recipe by herself besides the taking in and out from the Vortx oven! Made them again today.
They were not done all the way…wonder if elevation has sonetbing to do with it…
You can easily substitute self-rising flour for all-purpose+baking soda. Also, four bagels easily fit on one sheet , so you don’t need to swap trays. I would up the temp to 350 because they come out undercooked at original 330.
