How much time should this cook on the Rice pressure cook setting? The recipe doesn’t say.
The rice program is automated and the time is not adjustable; unless using Less, Normal, More for the end result texture. Just press the rice program and wait till it finishes. It is around 12 + minutes (Depending on quantity).
Just made this for lunch! So good and easy! Added some cayenne pepper for a little punch and a can of corn.
Yum! I added frozen corn like Sue Ann suggested and use homemade blackbeans.
When I started putting this together I was out of salsa. I used a can of diced tomatoes and a little garlic and it was delicious. This is something I will make again. Next time Ill be sure ti have the salsa.
Yummy! First time making quinoa in the IP. Added corn, black beans, and cilantro once natural release was finished. Also added fresh diced tomatos in addition to salsa. Subbed the spices with a tablespooon of taco seasoning.
So I know it defeats the purpose being a Vegan recipe but adding Chicken broth instead of the water was so good!!
Very easy to make. I used chicken broth instead of water. Very tasty.
Wow was this good! I added 1 cup of beef broth in place of water and used 1 cup of diced tomatoes since I did not have salsa. Fresh diced tomatoes, green onions and hot sauce on top. AMAZING. I will make this again soon!
I added hot sauce and it was perfect!
