Spicy Apple Chips

  • 4 apples
  • 2 lemonstheir juice
  • 1tbsp olive oil
  • 1tbsp of pequín pepper
  • Salt, to taste
To serve:
  • lemon juice
  • Chamoy or hot sauce
  1. Core the apples. Using a mandoline or sharp knife, slice into 1/16-in (2-mm) slices. Transfer to a bowl, add lemon juice, olive oil, pequin pepper, and salt to taste. Mix well. 
  2. On the Instant Vortex control panel, press Air Fry and then set time to 19 Minutes and temperature to 285˚F (140˚C). Press Start.
  3. Once preheated, add the apples (do not overlap). Turn over when the Instant Vortex signals to do so. Once the time is up, take out and let cool. 
  4. Serve with lemon juice and chamoy or hot sauce.
