Slow Cooked Hoisin Miso Ginger Glazed Tofu

  • 4 scallionsthinly chopped
  • 1lb extra firm tofucut into 1/2-inch cubes
  • 1/4cup Hoisin Sauce
  • 2tbsp miso paste
  • 1tsp honey or brown sugar
  • 1tsp rice vinegar
  • 2tsp ground gingeror 1/2 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 garlic clovesminced
  • Half red finger pepperseeded and small diced
  • 1/4cup vegetable broth or water
  • 1tsp sesame oil
  • 1tsp sesame seeds
  1. Add the hoisin, miso paste, honey, rice vinegar, ginger, garlic, red finger pepper, sesame oil, sesame seeds and vegetable broth. Whisk together.
  2. Add the cubed tofu into the pot; stir in.
  3. Close the lid. Set valve to release.
  4. Select SLOW COOK-Low and set the time to 3 hours. Press START.
  5. Once the cooking cycle is done, press CANCEL.
  6. Serve the tofu with sauce from bottom of pot and garnish with extra scallions, red finger pepper and sesame seeds if desired.
