Ingredients
- 2 pounds baking potatoes scrubbed and cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 cup Water
- 1-¼ tsp salt divided
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp butter cut into small pieces
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ¾ cup milk

Instructions
- Combine potatoes, water,
1 tsp salt and garlic powder in Instant Pot; mix well. - Secure lid and move pressure release valve to Sealing position. Press Pressure Cook or Manual; cook at High Pressure 8 Minutes.
- When cooking is complete, use quick release. Add butter, remaining
¼ tsp salt and pepper. Gradually add milk, mashing with potato masher until desired consistency is reached.
