Perfect white jasmine rice!
I wish the recipe told me how long to boil
\/ The instructions say soon as it starts to boil.
Yummy Rice nicely cooked!
Why not IP 4 mins. ? Ratio is 1:1
Making for first time. Why am I hitting saute for a few then keep warm. Why not be instructed to click “Rice” what gives? Okay I’ll post review after I make.. making now. Oh and i hope my glass lid / that i had to use will work, nothing i have fits perfect.
Very crunchy rice. A little dissapointed
If the rice was too crunchy then not enough water was used or the Instant pot didnt seal correctly and released some of the water as steam escaped.
I was told that I could just use the amounts and time from the brown rice bag. I have not tried it yet. Has anyone else just followed the regular recipe of 1 Cup brown rice for 2 cups water?
I was told to use the ratio 1 to 1 and put it in the instant pot hit the rice button and then let it natural release for 10 minutes it’s doing its thing right now so we shall see.
Just used my Instant Pot with the 1:1 ratio and hit the rice function and let it do its thing for 10minutes. Now I have the perfect texture and fluffy rice.
This recipe is wrong. If you use the glass lid, the rice never cooks. If you replace the glass lid with the pressure lid, it comes out perfectly.
I’ve used this recipe twice now and it’s been perfect! Best Jasmine rice ever. I have made it with the pressure cook function and it did not come out as well. Way to sticky!
I followed other people’s advice. Used the rice function button & put the cooker lid on vs glass lid. The rice stuck to the bottom a lot so I’d spray the pot or maybe add some oil & a little more water. Otherwise was great & made quite a bit.
The rice is crunchy because this recipe is wrong. Please take a moment yo review and correct.
Pressurecook recipe has saute instructions. This app is getting worse and worse. I’ve lost favorites and actual recipes have been removed.
I’ve used this recipe several times and it comes out perfect.
All the comments has me confused. How could most due something other than the recipe and it came out good. How could the recipe come out good when it is so different than the alternate ones? Confused!!!!
All the comments has me confused. How could most due something other than the recipe and say it came out good.
This is a very dumb way to do rice. No where near done
Why have a “rice” button on the insant pot but when cooking rice you dont even use it. This is stupid. Rice ruined. Dinner ruined. Then when you adjust the amounts of rice for more or less servings guess what doesnt change..the time to cook it in the body of the instructions. Get it togethrr!!
The recipe I have from the original instant pot recipe book for ‘perfect jasmine rice’ is 1-1 ratio rice to water, (I always rinse the rice first), then hit MANUAL for 4 minutes. then let it do natural release about 10-15 minutes. It’s really perfect every time and easy too. In the book recipe was credited to Laura Pazzaglia. In book it was 3 c rice, 3 c water, but I’ve done it with varying amounts depending on how many ppl I’m serving, and still always cooked well.
Does Instant Pot have a recipe app or a recipe book available on line. I’m talking that has recipes that they have tested and gotten behind. Something legit and not, no offense, a bunch of recipes that seem worthy of a book put out by the Little Rascals. They are published with the Instant Pot name attached and frankly, I would not put my name on these rag tag recipes. With your name attached, that gives the impression you endorse these, misspelling and all.
My instant pot doesn’t have a glass lid
What in the world is the point of having an instant pot with a rice setting if this is how it’s being cooked?? I’m genuinely confused
