Instructions
  1. Core and quarter apples (peel if you desire) adding them in the Instant Pot.
  2. Pour in 1 cup of water and the lemon juice.
  3. Place the lid on and press “Manual”, adjusting time to 5 minutes. The Instant Pot may take 8-10 minutes to come to pressure before counting down the cook time.
  4. When the timer sounds, allow the Instant Pot to naturally release pressure for 10 to 15 minutes.
  5. Mash or use an immersion blender until you reach your desired sauce consistency.
  6. Spoon into sterile jars to store in the fridge, or measure into a silicone mold for freezing! Enjoy!

    Delicious! I used McIntosh apples and added in some cinnamon once it was finished cooking. Cant wait to serve with dinner! Thanks 🙂

    Made this with Gala and Red Delicious apples!! I also added a couple of shakes of cinnamon. Mmmmmmmmmm……great snack!!

    Simple recipe with delicious outcome. I used 6 Gala & 6 Fuji apples and added a couple dashes of cinnamon at the end. I didn’t peel the apples so I used an immersion blender for a short time. No sweetener needed.
    I made yogurt yesterday which will taste great in the applesauce!

    Mix of apples so added 2 T maple syrup, cut water to 1/2 cand added 1/2 tsp each if cinnamon and nutmeg
