Ingredients
- 1 1/2 - 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast cut into 1 inch pieces
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp cayenne
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/2 cup hot sauce red cayenne pepper sauce
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 green onion thinly sliced for garnish

- Set up a breading station with two bowls.
- In the first bowl add the flour, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, paprika, salt and pepper, and mix well.
- In the second bowl whisk the eggs.
- Working one at a time, dip chicken pieces into egg, then coat in breadcrumb mixture.
- Arrange chicken pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket, so they are not overlapping. Cook two batches if necessary.
- Make sure the cooking pan is inserted in the oven at the air fry level.
- Select Air Fry – 375°F and set time for 15 minutes. Press START.
- When oven is preheated place the air fryer basket with the chicken on the cooking pan in the oven.
- While chicken is cooking, combine the hot sauce and melted butter in a bowl and mix well until sauce is smooth.
- When cooking time is completed, carefully remove the chicken and place it in a bowl.
- Drizzle the hot sauce over the chicken pieces and toss well to coat all the pieces.
- Place chicken on a serving plate and sprinkle with green onion slices.
- Serve with a ranch dipping sauce.
