In a medium bowl, mix the Japanese panko, paprika, garlic powder, ranch dressing mix, salt, and pepper.
Place the flour, salt, and pepper, into a zip-lock bag and add the mozzarella string cheese. Seal the bag and shake it until the mozzarella string cheese are well dusted. Remove the mozzarella string cheese from the bag and place them on the clean surface.
In another medium bowl, crack 3 large eggs, season with salt and pepper, and whisk to combine. Set a tray with parchment paper to place the sticks after coating.
Dip mozzarella sticks in eggs to coat completely, and finally into the panko mixture patting to adhere and cover completely. Place on parchment paper.
Repeat the process of step 4 to ensure that any cheese sticks are sufficiently coated.
Place sticks in Air fryer basket leaving a little bit of space between sticks, then spray all the sides with cooking spray oil.
Place the cooking pan on the Roast/ Bake Level in the oven and then insert the oven rack on the Air fry level.
Select AIR FRY and set the temperature to 450°F for 8 minutes. Press START.
Once the oven is preheated, place the Air fryer basket on the rack.
When the oven shows TURN FOOD, gently flip the mozzarella sticks with a pair of tongs.
Spritz with additional cooking spray, if necessary, and cook until they turn golden-brown.
When the program ends, transfer the mozzarella sticks on a serving plate.
