Purè di patate
We made this recipe but changes a few things. As there are actually 2 loaded potato recipes here and we kind of liked parts of both. I didnt want to emulsify my potatoes as i like bite size pieces of potato in my soup. So we diced potatoes and only cooked fo 6 minute. I put all 4 pieces of bacon into the pot. We used pepper bacon so we didnt add more pepper. Just made extra bacon for toppings. It has been requested to be made again already!
Really easy and really good!
So amazing! I made some adjustments and cut the potatoes into bite sized pieces and added a bit of minced garlic. I also only cooked it for 8 minutes not 10 since my potatoes weren’t whole. So yummy!
I put the onion bacon and cheddar cheese in the same time as Cream – so good
This was very tasty and with cornbread it made a wonderful meal! I’ll make it again!
Delicious! Pototoes didnt cook all the way Through had to put in for 5 more minutes!
Very bland
This was amazing and spot on.
This was amazing and super easy! Will definitely make it again. I will add more potatoes next time though.
Will definitely make again with a few adjustments. Would cut the potatoes first as they did not cook well whole. Would also leave out the cream cheese as it was chunky and did not blend well for me. Overall 4 stars.
Lovely soup
Me and my kids absokutely LOVED this recipe. Perfect one pot meal
This is the first thing i did with my new instant pot and i might say wow this was the best patato soup i had 5 star
I have made this recipe more than 10x now. The fact that all 5 of our kids LOVE this should tell you everything you need to know. Highly recommend this!
I made this with sautéd white onion instead of green onions. Very very good.
Delicious!
My son loves it!
Easy recipe to follow and really nice to have soup within a half hour. I made a half recipe and it turned out well however you can’t put the potatoes in whole like the recipe says. If you do, you’ll need to cook for a total of 16 minutes. I think next time i will cut in to chunks. Also, i added sweet onion and chopped garlic while cooking and a TON more black pepper. If i didn’t i am pretty sure it would be pretty bland. Overall great base recipe.
Very good recipe I cut potatoes in four pieces cooked in 10 minutes 10 extra minutes to thicken
2nd recipe on this site and again I was left with way too much liquid after the pressure cook had to make a roux on the fly this time. delicious soup though
Hi Scott,
If you prefer thicker sauces or soups, thickeners or reducing would be needed as thick liquid have difficulty generating enough steam to pressurize and risk burning.
I used the pressuer cookinf settinf for 10 minutes to soften the potatoes
