Yes, 0 minutes is correct. When you set the Instant Pot to 0 minute pressure cooking time, the asparagus will be cooking while the unit is trying to reach pressure. Once it has, the unit will switch off. You then will have perfectly cooked vegetables. Majority of vegetables or thin noodles are cooked using this method.
I have an 8 quart ultra instant pot. Do I still add the same amount of water?? In its manual it says to always add at least 2 cups of water

These were cooked perfectly! I will always make my asparagus in the instant pot now. I loved the lemon flavor as well. I doubled this recipie and next time I will not double the “sauce.” The original recipie was more than enough for two bunches of asparagus.
