Instructions
  1. Preheat the appliance on SAUTE mode set for 20 minutes.
  2. Add the butter and stir until melted.
  3. Add the diced onion, carrots, celery, and minced garlic to the pot. Sauté for 7-9 minutes until fragrant and wilted.
  4. Add the tomato paste and stir to combine. Sauté for 1-2 minutes, or until any remaining liquid has evaporated.
  5. Add the ground beef and pork. Sauté for another 10 minutes, or until the meat turns from red to gray. Stir occasionally to ensure no sticking.
  6. Add salt, pepper, and water. PRESSURE COOK on HIGH for 25 minutes. Allow the pot to naturally release for 5 minutes, then quick release any remaining pressure.
  7. Add the heavy whipping cream and grated parmesan. Season to taste as needed. If Bolognese is too runny, turn on SAUTE mode and bring to a boil for 5-10 minutes.
  8. Toss with cooked pasta noodles, or layer into your favorite lasagna. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
