Instructions
  1. Set your Instant Pot to Sauté. When display reads "hot", heat the butter (or ghee).
  2. Season meat with salt and pepper, and brown the chops on both sides. Remove the chops and deglaze the pan with the chicken bone broth.
  3. Return the pork chops to the cooker and cover with the crushed garlic cloves.
  4. Using the Manual setting on the Instant Pot, adjust to high pressure and set cooking time to 8 minutes. When time is up, allow pressure to naturally release. Set chops on a platter.
  5. Stir the arrowroot into almond milk, add to the pan juices, and bring to a boil, by using the Sauté setting. Stir and allow to thicken for about 2 to 3 minutes. Serve and Enjoy!

As an instapot novice, this one worked well for me! We were dancing around the kitchen shouting “we did it” with our 3 year old. Quick and easy to master. Delicious over chopped kale! We are watching our carbs:)

I can’t get over how good this was for all it’s simplicity! I subbed cornstarch slurry for the arrowroot and milk. The only change I’ll make next time is to not brown my chops for as long.

Very good and easy. I did use regular milk instead of almond milk, because I didn’t have almond milk.

This was really enjoyable. I cut the sauce recipe in half because I only had 3 pork chops, so 1/2 cup of the chicken bone broth, 1 TBSP of arrowroot and 1/4 cup hemp milk (didnt have almond milk) It was a great recipe, even though I tweaked it. Thank you!

1st time users of the instant pot and we loved it. Simple recipe to make. We made it with 4 pieces of pork and loved the recipe conversions with the app. Just in case anyone was wondering, it took about 20 minutes for the pressure to naturally release. I wanted to make sure pwople know this in case they were planning their side dishes to be done about the same time.

Step 2 is missing the essential step of sauteing the meat.
Step 5 is missing directions on what do with the sauce. Serve on the side, over the meat, or return meat to the pot to cook with the sauce?
I haven’t tried it yet but i think i can do it. Im going to serve the strawberry salad on the side instead of on top.

Made this for the first time and loved it. Will cook it for 5 minutes next time instead of eight because it was a bit dry. Still delicious and definitely not overly garlicy.

This is the first dinner I made in my new IP. It was super easy. It. came out the slightest bit dry, due to my error, of not trusting the right amount of time I should set the time for. I’m certain had I trusted the recipe it would have been perfect.
