Instructions
  1. Thaw puff pastry according to the instructions on the package.
  2. Lay parchment paper on a tray and set aside.
  3. Place parchment paper on a large cutting board and lay puff pastry on the paper.
  4. Using a round cookie cutter or a glass cut 15 circles with a 2” diameter for the first batch. Repeat the same steps below for the second batch to use all the puff pastry.
  5. Place each circle on the tray with parchment paper.
  6. Select Bake. Set the temperature to 355°F and time to 15 Minutes. Press Start.
  7. At the end of the cooking cycle, carefully take puff pastry circles out on a rack to cool down.
  8. When they have cooled, cut in half.
  9. Place bottom piece of the puff pastry on a plate. Pipe a generous amount of whipped cream on top.
  10. Place the top pastry piece gently on top of the whipped cream.
  11. Pour chocolate syrup on top.
  12. Garnish with almond tranches.
Recipe Notes

Chef`s Tip: 1-This is a great recipe also for special days. Use a heart shaped cookie cutter for Valentine’s Day and replace chocolate syrup with cranberry, or strawberry syrup. 2- Whipped cream can be replaced with homemade custard or ice cream."
