Sprinkled a mixture of Italian herbs and garlic powder on breasts before cooking. They were most and tasty.

There seems to be there are no recipes for the Instant Vortex plus. It`s must be they just want us to think there is a thousand recipes for it.

I tried to make cranberry chicken breasts and added a cup of broth. The thick sauce I use was nothing but water and chicken was dry and tough.
My pot was a gift and am trying to use it but nothing is cooking right

well,, this didn’t get off to a very good start. I bought my air fryer today and hoped to use it for making chicken breasts for dinner. SInce there was no recipe book in the box (! other models seem to include one), I went online to the site that was on the box — I followed the links from PRODUCTS to AIR FRYER to RECIPES to POULTRY to CHICKEN BREAST — I was ready to cook! Welllll, when i saw that the recipe called for a cup of water or broth – I knew this couldn’t be right! Turns out it was a recipe for the pressure cooker!
Thinking that I’d followed the links incorrectly, i went back and did it again – SAME THING.
THat does not inspire confidence on my part to trust this appliance!

Lousy recipe information for the air fryer lid. Why? Very disappointing, why should I have to buy another cook book just to learn how to use this thing? It’s going back. Even the link on the getting started guide book doesn’t give any recipes. Will note this in my review of the product on Amazon.

I followed the instructions perfectly, only 2 chicken breasts, it did not cook my chicken at all. Completely raw inside

It would be nice if they stated what size Instant Pot the recipe is for. I’m assuming all the recipes are for the 6QT sinc that is there most popular size.

Not any recipes for the vortex air fryer. Hate that I spent this amount for no ideas. Very unhappy with my purchase

I made this recipe with two chicken breasts & followed directions, they were not cooked at 8min. I cooked them again at 15 min & still not cooked through. I suggest finding another recipe.

People who complain about not being fully cooked must not be waiting for the pressure cook Option to heat up before the time actually starts followed the instructions with 5 huge breast all cooked fully and saved me the unfreeze time for the breast

I made this tonight. I used a small can of chicken broth instead of water & seasoned my chicken with olive oil, Louisiana seasoning. I placed them on 2 trivets and cooked for 30 minutes. It was fabulous!!!! I made a gravy with the juices, then served over rice. Needless to say my boys ate every bit of it!

I like to make a two meal pot and was wondering how much the time changes in the recipe I see here.

I agree with the other posts about cook time. I just cooked 2 chicken breasts, 3.24 lbs to be exact, but it took closer to 30 mins to be fall off the fork tender not 8 like it says here. And yes I waited for it to preheat, had the pressure up to max and did everything I was supposed to. After all was said and done the chicken was perfect, but not in 8 mins.

Followed the recipe to the letter twice now. Both times the chicken came out perfectly cooked and easy to shred!

Where are recipes for the Vortex Pro 10 Quart Air Fryer Oven? I am very disappointed. Consumers have been asking for this for since December 2019!

Do you change out the lid to air fry for 1 minute after they cook in broth for 8 minutes? I agree that this seems very confusing as there are really no directions on how to use the air fryer, unless I’m missing something.

I have also tried this recipe, and several others, multiple times using thawed chicken breasts. Most chicken breast recipes tend to call for a 10 min cook time with a 10 min natural release, and they have always come out dry or chewy. I cooked this one for 10 mins with a quick release and it finally came out just the way it should, tender and juicy. If 8 mins wasn’t enough, try 10-15, depending on thickness of breast, with a quick release. That should work.

I am trying to get up the courage to use my pot. Discouraged by the lack of simple cooking beginner recipes. I even bought a cook book. Not much help.

Made this. Tough and dry. Very disappointed. I purposely bought this to make tender juicy chicken. I would get the same result using a crock pot or slow cooker.

Delicious, tender, juicy, succlent chicken! I put two seasoned breasts in the bottom, topped with 4 diced golden potatoes, and poured 8 oz of chicken broth over top! Will be my go to chicken recipe.
