  • 1tbsp oil
  • 1lb ground beef
  • 1 onionchopped
  • 3 garlic clovesminced
  • 1/8tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2tsp oregano
  • 1tsp onion powder
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2tsp pepper
  • 1tsp hot sauceoptional
  • 2tsp Dijon mustard
  • 3cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 3cups uncooked macaroni
  • 2cups sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 – 2/3cup heavy cream
  • freshly chopped parsley
  1. Select SAUTE and press START. When hot, add the oil and let it heat for 2 minutes. Add the ground beef and onion. Cook, stirring occasionally, until onions are translucent, and the meat is browned.
  2. Add garlic and stir.
  3. Add all spices, including the bay leaf and oregano. Stir until fragrant.
  4. Add hot sauce, if desired, Dijon, and chicken broth. Stir.
  5. Let the broth heat up to a simmer.
  6. Add macaroni, make sure it is submerged in the liquid.
  7. Secure the lid for pressure cooking.
  8. Select PRESSURE COOK, HIGH, set the timer to 3 minutes, then press START. The pot will take a few minutes to come to pressure.
  9. When the cook cycle is complete, press CANCEL and Quick Release the pressure.
  10. Remove lid and stir in the cheeses and then add as much cream as you want to make it as saucy as you like.
  11. Place the pasta in a ramekin or a baking dish, top with extra cheese, clean inner pot and put back in cooker base. Place the dish in the inner and cover with Air Fryer Lid. Select Broil, set temperature to 400°F, set time for 5-7 minutes and press START. Cook until cheese is melted.
  12. Add optional garnish and serve hot.
