- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion chopped
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- 1/8 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp hot sauce optional
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 3 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 3 cups uncooked macaroni
- 2 cups sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1/4 - 2/3 cup heavy cream
- freshly chopped parsley

- Select SAUTE and press START. When hot, add the oil and let it heat for 2 minutes. Add the ground beef and onion. Cook, stirring occasionally, until onions are translucent, and the meat is browned.
- Add garlic and stir.
- Add all spices, including the bay leaf and oregano. Stir until fragrant.
- Add hot sauce, if desired, Dijon, and chicken broth. Stir.
- Let the broth heat up to a simmer.
- Add macaroni, make sure it is submerged in the liquid.
- Secure the lid for pressure cooking.
- Select PRESSURE COOK, HIGH, set the timer to 3 minutes, then press START. The pot will take a few minutes to come to pressure.
- When the cook cycle is complete, press CANCEL and Quick Release the pressure.
- Remove lid and stir in the cheeses and then add as much cream as you want to make it as saucy as you like.
- Place the pasta in a ramekin or a baking dish, top with extra cheese, clean inner pot and put back in cooker base. Place the dish in the inner and cover with Air Fryer Lid. Select Broil, set temperature to 400°F, set time for 5-7 minutes and press START. Cook until cheese is melted.
- Add optional garnish and serve hot.
