Chocolatey Apple Compote
To Prep:
  • cups coconut milk, almond milk, or milk of your choice
  • 1 cup water
  • 1tsp cinnamon powder
  • 2 tsp cocoa powder
  • 2tbsp chia seeds
  • 2tbsp flaxseed
  • 2 red apples, thinly sliced
  • 2tbsp coconut flakes
  • 1tbsp agave or honey
For the Topping:
  • 1tbsp berries
  • 1tsp almonds, chopped
  • 1tsp coconut flakes
  1. Place the stainless steel inner pot inside the Instant Pot®. Add all ingredients in the order described. Stir with a wooden spoon, making sure nothing sticks to the bottom of the pot.
  2. Close and lock the Instant Pot® lid. Make sure the steam release handle is turned to Sealing. Press Pressure Cook, pressure level High, and set time to 4 Minutes.
  3. Once done, press the pressure release button to release all the air.
  4. Open pot lid and let cool. Serve warm with berries, almonds, and coconut.
