It was great, except for the southern style biscuit on top. Thats not a dumpling and it tasted terrible. We ended up just dumping all the biscuit out and eating it as a chicken and vegitable soup.
This was easy to make and flavors were great. My oops, I was expecting something thicker. This was creamy, delicious, and from what I’ve read, on point! My hubby ate it up.
My first time using my insta pot and this turned out good!
Cut spices in half
Made and increased recipe to feed 6. Very good but if you want thick sauce reduce soup. Great for a winter day.
So easy. Very flavorful.
I agree, one can of soup only and cut spices. I made flour dumplings and cooked them on Saute setting after stew was done. Worked out great!
Ok, except for the biscuits – too chewy. Took them off and ate the rest.
The dumplings were great. However, dish was very under seasoned. We had to add salt, pepper and some Tabasco sauce to enjoy the flavor when serving.
I am recovering from surgery and this was just what the doctor ordered. Not spicy but still tasty and a nice all in one bowl kind of meal. Great for a chilly day.
Very good, definitely a comfort food!
What a great meal. Subbed mushroom soup for cream of celery, hit more Rosemary that called for and was unreal. Biscuits turned out unreal and not chewy or mushy. 100% on the fav list for next time.
Sooooo good. Dumplings turned out excellent.
Delicious. One kid didn’t care for the dumpling part and they were kinda mushy, but overall tasty.
The only good part was the sauce and flavoring.
Great flavor and easy to make! I used thighs rather than breasts but kept tge rest of the recipe the same! It was great!
Was easy make was a great meal for a cool evening.
Loved this! Turned out fantastic!
Not that great.
This was a good recipe. The chicken and broth and veggies all came out really good. Im not a fan of canned biscuits as the dumplings but my roommate said they were good.
I had used fresh veggies and parsley. I added Trumeric, white wine and shallots. I used southern biscuits frozen, it was ok.
This was amazing. I was nervous about how it would turn out…cause im picky about my dumplins! But they were really good!!
Absolutely delicious! This one is a keeper, true comfort food
Easy, Tasty Comfort food!
Fantastic recipe! I used fresh carrots, one can of cream of chicken and a splash of almond milk (trying to reduce dairy).
We loved it!! Thought the sauce would be thicker, so next time I’ll cut done the broth, maybe try the cream of mushroom soup instead, and maybe some flour or cornstarch to thicken.
But great taste, nicely spiced… definitely a keeper!!
Even though I have been cooking for 50+ years, I love this recipe! The dish comes out perfectly, and tastes even better as a leftover. One thing I am doing from now on is to use thighs rather than breasts. Using the fat free soup will offset some of the added fat from the thighs.
Great, its more of a chicke pot pie to me but still a great rec.
I used the boneless chicken breast i did not use the canned soup instead i just used chicken stock and thickened it with a flour and water slurry. I also made my own dumplings. It came out really good. Differently a keeper. I love this so much more then a crock pot.
Very good. I added very small chopped up potatoes to mine when I added onion and celery. My dumplings tho very tasty came out darker than your picture probably because I left it for 54 min after the 5 min cook. Will make it again, easy and quick!
Used 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup plus 1 can of water.
I would try to reduce sodium next time.
Very good overall!
Very tasty but I think next time, and there will be a next time, I will cut the biscuits smaller
We loved this recipe exactly as it is, i just cut the biscuits a little smaller.
This came out so good! One of the best ones i have had!
Not traditional chicken and dumpling. Very flavorful but not a dish I would repeat or recommend.
The dumplings are terrible , fed to the dogs! The rest is very good and with crust would make a good pie. But never again with the dumplings!
I love this recipe ! Just one thing, I beg of you! Can you clarify the ingredients list on the soup can? I have made this recipe three times over in a row, and every time I’ve purchased only one Can of Soup by mistake because the quantity appears below in tiny letters and I always forget! Yes, I am probably stupid, but please can you help someone out here?
ThanksThank you!
Was so tasty and simple to make, wish i woukd have made the biscuigs a little smaller than quartered but still delicious
