Ingredients

cassava

extra-virgin olive oil

mozzarella cheese

Instructions
Add the cassava to the Instant Pot® inner pot, with a pinch of salt.
Close and lock the Instant Pot® lid. Make sure the steam release handle is turned to
Sealing
. Press
Steam
and set time to
17 Minutes
.
Let cool for about
12 Minutes
and grate the cassava.
Place the grated cassava in a bowl along with the olive oil, water, salt, and spices, to taste.
Using your hands, knead well, form into small balls, and fill each with a square of cheese.
On the Instant Vortex control panel, press
Bake
and then set time to
10 Minutes
and temperature to
340°F (170°C)
. Press
Start
.
Once preheated, add the arepas to the basket and close.
Remove, turn over, and put back in for
10 Minutes
at
340°F (170°C)
.
