Ingredients
  • 4 Waffle frozen
  • 2 bananas
  • 1/3 cup Pecan whole
  • 1 pinch brown sugar optional
  • 1 pinch cinnamon grounded, optional
  • Spray Oil
For the Buttermilk Syrup:
  • ½ cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup butter salted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup butter salted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda

Instructions
  1. Peel and slice bananas into ½ inch-thick rounds.
  2. Sprinkle banana slices with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  3. Select Bake. Set the temperature to 357 °F and the timer to 15 Minutes. Press Start.
  4. When the unit is hot, spray oil the air frying plate and arrange bananas side by side on the plate.
  5. Spray oil on top of the bananas. Press Start.
  6. When the bananas developed a nice colour in around 5 Minutes. Gently turn the bananas. Bananas will be soft; be careful not to squeeze.
  7. Add pecans to the empty space between the bananas,
  8. After 5 Minutes, place the nicely browned bananas and toasted pecans on a plate.
  9. Place the waffles in the air-frying basket and let them warm up for 5 Minutes.
  10. For the salted buttermilk syrup, melt butter and sugar with the buttermilk in an Instant Pot with the sauté function or in a large saucepan on the stovetop. Mic with a whip occasionally until the syrup starts boiling.
  11. Add vanilla extract to the syrup. Turn off the heat. Whisk in the baking soda until bubbly.
  12. Spoon some of the syrup on the waffles. Maple syrup, honey, or caramel sauce can be used instead of the buttermilk syrup.
  13. Arrange toasted pecans and then caramelised bananas on top. Pour more syrup on top.
Recipe Notes

Chef`s Note: Buttermilk syrup can be replaced with maple syrup, honey, or caramel sauce.
