What’s better than perfectly crisp bacon? Sweet and salty candied bacon! If you love spicy foods, feel
free to pay around with the quantity of cayenne in this recipe. We used thick-cut bacon, so make sure to watch for doneness if swopping with smaller cuts.

- 1 lb. thick-cut bacon
- 8 tbsp dark brown sugar
- 2 tsp cayenne
- 2 tsp black pepper

Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix brown sugar, cayenne, and black pepper. Lay bacon flat on a baking sheet and sprinkle the brown sugar mixture evenly on the front and back of each bacon strip.
- Lay the bacon evenly in the air fryer basket, careful to not overlap. Air Fry in batches at 350°F / 180°C for 12 – 14 Minutes, until crispy and caramelized.
- Allow to cool for 5 Minutes, then serve.
