Very Tasty. Batter made 3. Would make again.
Not a fan unfortunately! Easy recipe and easy to follow, the pudding was so heavy and bland, not like a proper sticky toffee pudding at all. Not worth doing this one.
I followed the America’s test kitchen recipe For sticky toffee which yields eight ramekins. I have the largest Insta pot and was able to stack four on top of four ramekins. I followed the steaming instructions here and it worked just fine.
It cooks perfectly. For some reason mine turned out a bit salty.
Make your own toffee sauce! 1/2 c butter 1/2 cup whipping cream 1 c brown sugar. Heat over low heat till bubbles and thickens and brown sugar is melted.
I tried the cooking method again but with a different recipe. Much better. .
Thank you! You should try this silicone trivet with heat-resistant handles. it’s much better than the metal trivet that came with the instant pot. I got it on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082XZNGPJ
It seems like this recipe should call for brown sugar in the cake. While I prefer it less sweet, I think that would help with the texture and make it gooey. All the other recipes I’ve read call for at least 0.25 cup brown sugar.
Thank you very much for this wonderful dish idea! For anyone who asked for Instant Pot accessories, check out this Amazon store – https://amzn.to/3rzTm7K
