Ingredients
- 1 cup stone-ground grits
- 3 cups Water or low-sodium broth
- 2 tsp kosher salt
- ½ cup milk or half and half
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp black pepper

Instructions
- Apply a thin layer of cooking spray to the base of the Instant Pot to keep grits from sticking.
- Add
1 cup of yellow or white stone-ground grits,3 cups water or low sodium broth, and2 tsp salt to pot - Close and lock the lid and turn the steam release handle to Sealing
- Select Pressure Cook and cook for 10 Minutes
- Then allow for 15 minutes Natural Release
- Flip valve to quick-release any remaining pressure
- Remove lid and, using a whisk, stir in milk, melted butter, and black pepper to remove any clumps
- Serve warm
