Apple Butter and Chedder Grilled Cheese

Celebrate the fall season with this sweetened twist on the classic grilled cheese. Make your own apple butter in your Instant Pot, or easily purchase at the store and enjoy for a quick lunch or dinner!

- 1 Granny Smith apple sliced thinly
- 8 Cheddar cheese slices
- 1-2 tbsp softened butter or ghee
- 2-3 tbsp apple butter
- 4 slices sourdough bread
½ tbspsoftened butter or ghee on the inside and outside of each bread slice.
½ tbspapple butter on the inside of two bread slices. Layer half of the cheddar cheese slices on top of one bread slice. Continue with half of the apple slices, and finish by placing the second bread slice on top of the sandwich, apple butter side down. Repeat steps for the second sandwich.
- Air Fry both grilled cheeses at 375°F for 7-10 minutes, until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted. Cut in half and serve immediately.
