Ace Blender – Roasted Garlic Hummus

Ingredients
  • 28oz garbanzo beans or chick peas2 cans 14 oz each 1/4 cup liquid reserved
  • 4tbsp tahini
  • 1/4cup lemon juice
  • 1/4cup olive oilextra virgin
  • 3/4tsp kosher or sea salt
  • 1 head garlic roasted and peeled
  • 1/2tsp cumin
  • 1/8tsp cayenne pepper
Instructions
  1. Add ingredients to the blender pitcher and secure lid.
  2. Select “Med” manual setting and blend for 1 minute then select “High” manual setting and blend for 1-2 additional minutes until desired texture is reached using tamper as needed. Press “Cancel” to stop blending.
  3. Serve with your favorite cracker, biscuit, or chip or use as a sandwich spread.
Recipe Notes

*Note: to roast garlic, cut a slice around the head of garlic and drizzle olive oil over the entire head of garlic. Roast at 375℉ for 30 minutes or until the outside skin begins to brown and the garlic is fragrant.
